I recently got an invite to do observational sketching at Downtown Disney, and we ended up at the hotel where I drew this:
The back of one of four carolers that were going around the inside of the lobby together. This was a fun thing to do, and I miss doing it since I used to do observational sketching on a regular basis years ago. I may try and pick this up again.
So I started this as a warmup, but it kind of got out of my hands and became more elaborate than I imagined.

That’s a good question. Not much. I just had my birthday this past week or so. I’ve had lots of other family birthdays before that (we are all apparently leo’s) and I’ve been busy but with seems like not very much.
I have gone to workshops and I posted the drawings online at various places and I figured I should post them here now too.

I have also been preparing to FINALLY launch my online comic but I still need a tiny bit more time. I have my freelance work as well that I’m not allowed to post. I also have an instagram if you’re interested in following.
This was for a contest on Freelancer, and I decided to have some fun with it. I don’t know if i’ll win anything but I like how it came out.
So I updated “The Crazy Joe Show” and added some things the client wanted. I also made a quick logo for a small international tea trading company.
I did a quick logo for a website which I’m unsure will air or not. And I was asked to do a logo very quickly with a short turnaround and here it is:

I did these super quick this past sunday to make a quick maquette out of one of them. I ended up picking the bottom left one over from the far bottom left.
I started the sculpture then too, and I’ll post the progress of the sculpture soon.
So I am going to get more serious with my website seeing as how I post anything and everything. I am going to keep a sketchblog and a mirror sketchblog for my life drawings and roughs, and the best ones I’ll post on here but in the appropriate tags above. The rest will stay on the appropriate blogs.
