I did this for Guillermo Del Toro’s contest on Deviantart, and I hope I did ok. I really hated spiders growing up, they scared the hell out of me. I always dreamt that the millions of spiders were controlled by some evil queen spider that was plotting to kill me.

Sad Day and Sandwiches

As part of my mourning the loss of the 27 (?) innocent people and children in Connecticut, as well as the sadness I feel for the 22 children and 1 adult stabbed in China, I decided to be productive today. I’ll have another blog soon, a food review blog,with a cartoon character as the host of that blog called “Miss Bitch” or “Miss Sandwich Bitch”. I know my cartoons and the tragedies are an inappropriate juxtaposition of things, but I didn’t want my thoughts and my love to go out there without posting it somewhere.

Little website Symbol, and a question for you.

Earlier I did this little low res image, which is actually higher res, but the higher res is kind of a mess. I need to work on it some more, and I wanted a new symbol for the address bar so I cut my progress on the larger version short.

The other day I finished drawing a humanized/human version of Rainbow Dash and I like how it came out. I may do the rest of the MLP ponies, however, I was wondering what other currently popular characters do you like to draw (anybody?)? Is there anything on the internet that’s particularly fun for artist types to draw?

Deer Sketch

A sketch that I colored digitally super quick, and I sort of left unfinished in the coloring department. I really don’t like spending too much time on something that’s just a quick idea. So I figured enough was enough and I’m happy with it as is. I was going to post this on my deviantart, and I might still do that, but for now it’s posted here. Kind of an unusual drawing for me, but then again I do alot of unusual style or unusual in general drawings.

More stuff…But I promise…

…I will post some actual new work soon I just have been trying to sort out everything and get back on track. Hopefully I can start posting more frequently, because I have plenty of free time now to work on my art and organize my stuff and post it online.

Future Stars Graphics

I figured this would be a good time for me to post the full sized graphics for Future Stars Gaming. On their website they are scaled down.

It was fun and interesting to do work in this style since it is and isn’t really my style at the same time. These were fun projects and I will post more soon, maybe related to this game (maybe!).

I really wanted to do the opening animation by myself, and probably thought I could, but I don’t have an animation background. I also am extremely rusty at using animation programs, so my excitement has rollercoastered for this thing. But I’m mostly looking forward to how it looks in the end, especially since my boss who is a super pro at many things is going to animate my pictures for me.
